How long have you been in business?
I started Digital Illusion in 1996 and have been in business for 18 years.
What is your primary product or service?
Image Retouching is my primary business, although I also do product photography.
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
Although electronics was my college major, I also took classes in art, photography and graphics and I had photos published by API. After college, I worked at a couple of printers and became a scanner operator, followed by a retoucher and the Adobe graphic programs.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
My background in photography and art allow me to visualize what an art director is looking for and my background in various aspects of printing and image scanning, gave me the knowledge to make sure the final image will look great for print or web.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
I have the one location in Maple Grove. Since I can now transfer images via the web, I can now work with clients anywhere.

I am located just west of HWY 494 off of Bass Lake Rd. in Maple Grove. There is a google map on this site or on my website.
What type of payments do you accept?
I accept business checks, but I can arrange for credit card payments if desired.

My primary business area is the Twin Cities, MN, but via the web, I service clients in other states.

Bob Weideman is the sole owner and operator of Digital Illusion.

My hours are flexible to meet your needs.

I love to hear when an art director says "my client loved your work and you made me look good".

My moto is "Do unto others as you would have them do unto you". If I do good work and treat my customers well, they will recommend me to others and keep coming back.
